My wife and I recently visited Sweet Bee Honey Company on a trip to Walla Walla. This is a MUST VISIT for anyone interested in food, bees, or just wants a unique experience. The honey tasting is free and gave us a special opportunity to taste all 8 of the honeys Sweet Bee produces. Stacie is extremely friendly and knowledgeable about bees, pollinators, and honey. A special opportunity to visit as well following Sweet Bee being featured on the recent National Geographic documentary. Ryan, Stacie, and the Lieuallen Family truly care about pollinator preservation and keeping the world a better place for bees. The creamed honey and buckwheat honey were our favorites.

I just saw the work you’re doing on National Geographic. That 450 acre wildflower setup must have been an incredible project (and so fun for the girls!) way to beekeep! Proud to see an Oregonian “on the map.” *Bee well*

What a fun find! We happened upon this family business while driving back from Tolgate to our campsite. The hours are only Friday and Saturday 11-4 unless they have important bee stuff going on. :) so we were lucky! We had Stacie all to ourselves and she is so nice, down to earth, and very willing to educate us on some fascinating bee info! The honey samples are really delicious and I have never got to taste so many and side by side to interpret the differences. I really enjoyed it and found my favorite was the "star thistle" and my husband loved the creamed honey. Ask about the process of that type! It's a task! Enjoy our visit! And thank you for taking time with us Stacie!

We had an amazing experience today at Sweet Bee Honey Company. While on vacation in Walla Walla and looking for things to do nearby, we found Sweet Bee. It's about 20 minutes south of Walla Walla near Milton-Freewater and worth the drive! During our tasting, we got to chat with Stacie about all of their honey-making processes. She was a great host, and really knowledgeable about what gives honeys their flavor. This is a great family-run business and we will definitely come back here when we're back in the area. Thanks for the visit, Stacie!

A local meadery clued me into this wonderful and adorable farm and I am so glad they did! It is a bit out of the way, but such a beautiful and bucolic drive that we didn't mind at all. We were promptly greeted by the owner as she warmly welcomed us into her shop, which smelled divine. She was full of really cool information and guided us through a delicious sampler of their honey. I loved that she was willing to dive into the source plant of each of the varieties, and you could tell that she loved to discuss it in full detail. During our tasting she had to finish canning some creamed honey she had been working on when we arrived and I was SO so impressed by her cleanliness and dedication to food safety. I simply HAD to buy some of the honey, and she was so kind about working with me to get enough for my needs (I wanted to buy at least a gallon). I will definitely be coming back for more from this farm. I loved every second of our visit!

There are so many great things to say about Sweet Bee Honey, besides how amazing their honey is. The owners are beyond kind and welcoming when visiting the tasting room. They offer different selections of honey (each amazing as the next) and the tasting room is kid/family friendly. It’s the only honey I will ever use!! Try them you won’t be disappointed.
